MEETING MINUTES
September 4, 2007
Meeting was called to order by Jon Sessler at 7:30 p.m.

Treasurer’s Report
Tracy reported a balance of $791.00.
Minutes
Minutes of the previous meeting were read.
Tournament Director Report
Ralph stated he has the applicants for the permits for next year’s tournament. Also that we have to turn in our lakes and tournament dates no later than October 19. Therefore, at next month’s meeting we have to finalize our list of tournament lakes and dates.
Dan Huffman reported on the Lake Chelan tournament results. He stated there was a lot of smoke due to forest fires and that fish were caught but they were not big ones. Terri Huffman got big fish with a little over 4 lbs.

Ralph discussed the Lake Tapps tournament on September 15 and 16. We will be launching at the County Park on the north end of the lake. The boat draw is:

We will launch around 6:30 both days. Weigh in on Saturday will be at 3:00 and Sunday is 2:00.
Old Business
The Club continued discussing tournament lakes for next year. Last month we discussed the following lakes as potential tournament lakes.
Ralph will clarify and report at next meeting if we are allowed 6 or 7 tournaments next year. Also that the Freeze Your Bass tournament in February will count as a Club tournament.
Below are the lakes the Club agreed upon and the remaining will be finalized at October’s meeting.
New Business
Members were reminded that annual Club membership dues are to be paid prior to or at the November meeting.
Jon reminded members that Casting for Kids was Saturday, September 8. Brian provided information that volunteers arrive at 7:30 and that it is a very beneficial event.
Jon mentioned that the NW Club Classic was having a tournament on October 13 at Willimette, near Portland. Each Club sends their 4 top anglers for the 2006 season, two boats and four participants. There’s a $120 entry fee and 100% pay back. If anyone is interested let Jon know.
State Federation Board meeting is September 15 in Ellensburg (same date as our Club tournament). Jon will check to see if Ron Hobbs or Jeff Abbott is required to attend.
Big Fish
Larry Enyart won the big fish pot.
Fishing Reports
Tracy reported he fished American Lake and caught fish up to 3.5 lbs.
It was also mentioned that Evergreen have two members, Jeff Abbott and Ron Hobbs, who are two of the top 12 in the state.
