MEETING MINUTES

October 2, 2007

 

Meeting was called to order by Jon Sessler at 7:30 p.m.

Roll Call

Roll call was taken.

Treasurer’s Report

Tracy reported a balance of $848.18.

Minutes

Minutes of the previous meeting were read.

Tournament Director Report

Ralph stated the next tournament is at Lake Pateros. The Club voted and agreed that this tournament would be dropped due to the lack of members attending. It was also agreed that the Club standings would be based on the four tournaments already held and that the Pateros tournament would be the one that members would throw out for counting toward the year end club standing records.

Ralph distributed plaques for the Lake Chelan tournament.

2nd – Phil Johnson – 16.12

3rd – Dan Huffman – 11.63

Big Fish – Teri Huffman – 4.16

Ralph reported tournament results for the Lake Tapps:

1st - Brian Henderson - 17.76

2nd – Ralph Lewis – 14.61

3rd – Holly Lewis – 9.63

Big Fish – Brian Henderson - 3.02

Old Business

The Club continued discussing tournament lakes for next year. The members voted and agreed to:

The Club agreed to let Ralph make the decision for back up lakes if there are any conflicts with dates and/or lakes.

New Business

It was discussed the communication from Bruce Baker regarding the upcoming WAC change that would result in only single hooks used in August, September and October. No crank baits, topwater, etc. to stop accidental snagging on Columbia. It may not affect tournament fisherman but could impact personal fishing.

It was discussed that the Federation meeting will be held on November 10 in Ellensburg and the Club will need to send a representative.

Jon stated he has reserved a room at the Porta Viarda on December 7.

Mark Jones reported he caught a 4.7 on American Lake.

Rob and Jeff reported on their win at Banks Lake

Ralph discussed his fishing at Banks two weeks ago.
