MEETING MINUTES

June 5, 2007

 

Meeting was called to order by Jon Sessler at 7:30 p.m.

Guest/New Members

Ron Starnett was visiting to club to check it out.

Treasurer’s Report

None

Minutes

Minutes of the previous meeting were read.

Tournament Director Report

Ralph reported the results of the Moses Lake tournament.

1st – Phil and Rob shared first place with 28.09 lbs. Since Phil had biggest fish 5.34 lbs, Phil was awarded first place.

2nd – Rob 28.09

3rd – Jeff 26.60 lbs.

Ralph stated the Joe Nanea from Empire Bass Club expressed his appreciation for allowing the Junior Bass anglers to weigh in with our Club.

Ralph also discussed the Sammamish tournament on June 30 and July 1. The Club voted to have this be a one day tournament instead of two. Blast off results:

2 Phil

3 Jim

4 Ralph

Blast off is 5:30 a.m. and weigh in is 3:00 p.m.

Old Business

It was reported that Ron Hobbs won the tournament on Lake Washington tournament last weekend.

It was also reported that the Seahawks Casting for Kids went really well.

New Business

The Jamboree tournament was discussed and there were some problems with our club not having reserved camping spots.

Jon mentioned that Tracy’s boat was damaged at the Lake Washington Tournament. Therefore, he won’t be able to attend the Lake Chelan Federation Qualifier. Tracy has paid for the entry fee. If any one would like to fish the Chelan Qualifier with Tracy, they are to let Tracy know. Phil would look at his calendar to see if he could go. Ralph said he would be Phil’s back up.

Big Fish

Lamar stated that three people have put in for Big Fish pot but no one has put in a slip. If he doesn’t receive any slips, the money will roll over into next month.

Fishing Reports

Larry reported he fished American Lake and 5 lb small mouths.

Phil fished Lake Goodwin and the small mouth were on fire.

Ron reported he fished Pot Holes for a week and did well. The small mouth were spawning in the dunes. He also caught 4-5 lbs small mouths. Also it was good fishing on Lake Washington.

Brian H. reporting there was good fishing on Alder Lake over Memorial Day weekend.
